RAD for Women, program from University Police Announced.

Officer Lynn Whitten, Community Resource Officer for the University of Colorado Denver Police Department released campus news today about the upcoming RAD program.

The University of Colorado Denver Police Department is again offering its R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) System’s basic self-defense program for women. The session dates are September 18th and 19th, 2010, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Classes will be held at the Campus Services Building on the Anschutz Medical Campus at 1945 Wheeling Street. Click here for map.

You must be able to attend the full 16 hours of class. Space in the class is limited and registration is by payment only.

Registration deadline is Wednesday, September 15th at 2:00 pm.

Cost for the class is as follows:

• Students (from any school or campus, student ID required) $20.00

• Faculty and Staff from UCD, UCH, TCH, UPI and other affiliates (ID required) $25.00

• General public $30.00
