The Strauss-Wisneski Indigenous and Integrative Medicine Collection will be co-sponsoring an upcoming conference on pediatric integrative medicine. Health for the Whole Child: An Integrative Approach will take place on Wednesday, Oct 30, 2019 in Mt. Oxford Auditorium at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This conference will include lectures, interactive panels, and breakout sessions.
Pediatric integrative health focuses on the enhancement of well-being of the whole child and uses a collaborative approach to health promotion, disease prevention, healing, and rehabilitation. The model builds on the elements of positive lifestyle habits, and other tools, to support the health of both child and family unit. Join us to learn more about integrative health, an approach that offers expanded treatment options and complements conventional therapies. Integrative health has the potential to revitalize meaning in practice, support our young patients, and enhance practitioner satisfaction.
Early Bird registration of $40 is available through October 16, 2019 and will increase to $50 after that date. An online-only option is also available for $25.00. All providers are welcome to attend as well anyone with an interest in integrative medicine. CME, CNE, and CPE credit will be available.
This event is made possible by a grant from the Bard Family Foundation.
