Please welcome Rebecca Schneider, the third new employee to Access Services! She started as a temporary employee on August 9th, and interviewed to stay here at HSL. Her first official day was October 22, 2017.
Read her short biography here:
I’m a 5th generation Coloradan and learned to hike before I could crawl. At Regis University, I double majored with a BASc in French and Business, with a minor in Philosophy. For the last two years, I served with the AmeriCorps teaching literacy at an elementary school. Along with serving with the AmeriCorps, I worked at Standley Lake Library. My favorite task at the Standley Lake Library was helping with a program that brought in service dogs that kids would read to. In my spare time, I am usually reading, playing Horizon Zero Dawn, working on home improvement projects, and exploring Colorado for the best “hole in the wall” restaurants.
