Tower Room updated with permanent PC

The library’s third floor Tower Room is a beautiful space that is often used for meetings. When not in use for meetings, it can serve as an excellent impromptu meeting or group study space. The room has a large white board, as well as a large flat screen, and to the latter we have now installed a permanent PC to give users a more usable space. No need to tote your own laptop or fuss with the connection!

Permanent PC now in HSL Tower Room

To use the PC and the flat screen, simply check out the dedicated wireless mouse and keyboard for the PC at the Front Desk. Got your own laptop? No worries, there’s also a convenient way to hook that up with either a high-res HDMI connection cable, or old-fashioned VGA. View the instruction sheet next to the control panel to choose exactly the display method you prefer.

Please note, the Tower Room is only available for group study when it is not previously scheduled for an event through the campus scheduling system. A sign will be posted on the door when reservations are in effect. The room can be scheduled through the University’s room request system.
