ICYMI: Shaken not stirred

CaptureThe BBC reported recently on a study of fictional spy James Bond’s alcohol intake.  The researchers at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust found Bond’s consumption to be four times the amount recommended for men.  The article includes an infographic illustrating the findings. Critical appraisal may reveal that unfinished drinks due to spy related interruptions, such as fights with international evil do-ers.

The article is part of BMJ‘s annual light-hearted Christmas issue. The issue also features “The survival time of chocolates on hospital wards: covert observational study”.
